Alexis Pavlov, PhD, BCBA-D
Dr. Alexis Pavlov is a Doctoral-level Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a licensed psychologist in the Severe Behavior Program at the Marcus Autism Center (MAC). Her clinical work focuses on the assessment and treatment of severe challenging behavior. Specifically, Dr. Pavlov is the lead clinician in the Crisis Consultation and Consultation Liaison Programs which provide behavioral health support to individuals admitted to hospitals for disruptive behavior or exhibiting noncompliance with medical procedures. The overall goal is to reduce incidences of crises and mitigate future hospitalizations with a focus on antecedent-based strategies and de-escalation. Dr. Pavlov is the chair of the annual Autism Treatment Symposium at MAC and leads an educational series for providers at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta who work with individuals on the autism spectrum. Dr. Pavlov is currently on the board of the Georgia Association for Behavior Analysis (GABA) in the role of Co-VP of Continuing Education and is the Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) Provider of record for the state organization. Dr. Pavlov is a resident of the Edgewood neighborhood in Atlanta where she lives with her French Bulldog, Lincoln.
